Welcome to California Canine Dog Training, Monterey Bay’s premier dog training facility. Helping puppies and dogs of all ages build confidence, manners, and lifelong skills through force-free training. If you want a well behaved dog with whom you have a deep bond, then our services will set you up for success!
Our group classes begin as early as 9 weeks for your new puppy to ensure you start off your relationship on the right paw. Obedience classes include basic manners all the way through Therapy Dog certification. To help you deepen your bond, we offer classes in agility where obedience is reinforced while your dog is having a great time learning jumps, tunnel, ramps, and more!
In addition to group classes, we offer private training for basic obedience and agility as well as specific problem resolution such as leash reactivity, issues with other dogs, and shyness.To get started with your training, please REGISTER your dog and give us a call at 831-717-4579.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
It is our belief that dogs are smart, empathetic, capable and, if given the appropriate motivators and a safe learning environment, trainable. Our training methods are force-free (no prong collars, choke chains, e-collars, spray bottles etc.) using positive reinforcement like treats, toys, and love. We also believe training should be incorporated into every day life situations making your dog a part of your family. As an owner you provide leadership and expectations that, with our training work, will help your dog adapt to your lifestyle and our community. We are here to help you discover your dog’s talents (they all have one even if it simply to love you). We look forward to working with you and the fabulous dog you have!
